How it works
It works by a process called Lipolysis, a revolutionary method to remove unwanted fat using the delivery of ingredients via trans-epidermal transmission and heat transfer.
The fat cells are broken down and excreted in tissue fluid and then further transported to the lymph vessels. They are then excreted from the body.
For optimum performance the body needs to be heated to approx. 40 degrees, not to achieve a sweat but to activate the process. This is achieved by lying on a heated treatment couch and being wrapped in a body wrap called wrapture.
This is NOT a fluid loss wrap.
The key ingredient in Shrinking Violet is Phosphatidylcholine specially developed for external use only. Also a powerful cellulite blend of essential oils.
What happens during a treatment?
I will take a full consultation.
You will need to get undressed to bra/pants/underwear or a bikini if you prefer
You are measured (optional),
Oil is applied to the body
You are wrapped in body wrap
You lie on a heated bed, covered in a blanket and relax for 1 hour
I offer a optional mini Reflexology treatment during this time
It is also possible for me to carry out another treatment at a reduced price at this time. Please see above.
After 1 hour, wrap is removed and you are re-measured (optional)
Are there any side effects?
You may have a slight increase in urination for 1-2 days afterwards.
What are the results and will they last?
The results will vary from person to person and depend on size, build, metabolism. Many people reduce by one dress size after a single treatment. you will have an immediate loss and a further loss after 24/48 hours. Combine with healthy eating and exercise for optimum results.
How many sessions will I need?
This wrap is perfect as a one off to get into that little black dress for a special occasion or as a kick start to a healthy eating plan. Or book a course for a larger inch loss.
Is it suitable for me?
It is NOT suitable if you have-
A soya bean allergy
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
Diabetes Type 1 (Insulin controlled)
Pregnant, Breastfeeding , or had a baby in the last 3 months
Had surgery in the last 3 months
Active open eczema or psoriasis
Heart or Circulatory problems
Epilepsy
If you have-
Under Active Thyroid- the inch loss may possibly be reduced. Please call me to discuss.
Varicose veins- treatment can be modified.

To get the maximum results from your wrap you should follow the pre and post wrap advice.
Pre wrap
No alcohol for 2/3 days before
Increase water intake to 1.5/2 litres a day for at least 2/3 days before - if you are dehydrated you may temporarily increase in size and will not get a good result!
Try and reduce caffeine (coffee, tea, coke etc.) intake to 1 or 2 cups a day for 1/2 days before
No heavy rich meal just before but please make sure if it is a morning appointment you have had something to eat as it is a warm treatment and not eating may cause you to feel light headed.
This treatment is not suitable if you are fasting or on a extremely low calorie diet.
Post wrap
No showering until the following day
You may have a bath on the 2nd day
Do not exercise for 12 hours following the wrap
Do not drink coffee, tea or fizzy drinks for 24 hours. Decaffeinated coffee and tea and caffeine free drinks are fine.
Continue to drink 1.5/2 litres of water for 24 hours to help with the cleansing process and removal of toxins.
Combine health eating and an active lifestyle to maintain inch loss.
*All wraps booked as a course must be taken during a 3 month period.
